Give A Kid A Coat, now in its 25th year, is an annual promotion supported by the donation of coats that adults or children have outgrown, or just don't wear anymore. Coats can be dropped off at any A Cleaner World Triad location, where staff will clean and make minor repairs to the coats. The Salvation Army will then pick up the donated coats and distribute them to residents in need this winter season.
Children's coats are especially in high demand, but all donations are welcome.
Anyone wishing to contribute to the 2011 Give A Kid A Coat campaign may do so by dropping off a coat at any A Cleaner World Triad location now through Saturday, November 26, 2011. Coats will be cleaned and repaired free of charge, then given to the Salvation Army for distribution. Distribution dates and times vary by city. Please check with your local Salvation Army office for specific distribution information. Click
