A Cleaner World Carpet Cleaning Step 1

The first part of our rug washing process is we inventory the rugs and measure them. We charge by the square foot. Then before we start working on your rug we do a thorough inspection. I have a couple of rugs here this morning that we are going to go a few things that we might look for during the inspection process. On this particular rug, something we may make note of is that the fringe is damaged on this rug. You can notice that the fringe is shorter on one side and longer on the other. We would also look to see if the rug is dry rotted. The second rug: I would be concerned about the bright red colors and blues. This is a rug that we would dye test and make sure that we are not going to have a problem with the dyes bleeding from where they are supposed to be, to where they are not supposed to be. The blue has already bled from a previous cleaning onto the white. That is something that we would want to go over with the customer prior to cleaning to make sure that they are aware of it. This rug is a tufted rug, which means essentially its glued together and this rug is coming apart at the glued corners. This is a problem that we see every day, and would like to discuss with the customer before cleaning.
