Week Three Stays Strong
The 2019 Give A Kid A Coat campaign has collected 10,305 coats during the first three weeks of this year’s campaign. That’s 3,753 less than the number collected through week three of last year’s campaign. “We hope area residents will make a big push the last two weeks of the campaign to make up this deficit and provide coats for as many children as possible.”, says Chris Edwards, President of A Cleaner World.
Katie Tesh of 107.5 WKZL says: “Give A Kid a Coat is such a tremendous part of the Triad. Without the efforts from everyone involved and all those who donate, so many children would be without coats. I love being a part of this cause.”
If you’d like to help with this year’s Give A Kid A Coat campaign, simply drop off outgrown or unused coats at any A Cleaner World location. A Cleaner World will clean and repair coats and give them to The Salvation Army for distribution. Families in need of coats should check with their local Salvation Army office for distribution information, or visit: http://www.acleanerworld.com/aboutus/givingback.aspx
The 2019 Give A Kid A Coat campaign concludes Saturday, February 9, 2019. Give A Kid A Coat is sponsored by A Cleaner World, The Salvation Army, Fox 8, 1075KZL, Rock92, and AAA Storage.
