GIVE A KID A COAT 2015 CAMPAIGN ENTERS FINAL WEEK
The 2015 Give A Kid A Coat campaign is entering its final week, and we are currently 95 coats behind week four of last year. To date, Give A Kid A Coat for 2015 has received 11,061 coats.
Jared Pike, with 1075 WKZL says: “I love being the father of my two children more than anything in this world. It would break my heart if they had to go without a warm jacket during the cold winter months. I am grateful for Give A Kid A Coat and their selfless mission of providing a warm winter coat to every child in the Triad! I’m going to our coat closet right now to find a few more coats we can donate this year.”
If you would like to donate a coat to keep a child or adult warm this winter, simply drop off an outgrown coat or a coat no longer needed at the nearest A Cleaner World location. A Cleaner World will clean and repair the coats and then send them to The Salvation Army for distribution. Families in need of coats can visit www.acleanerworld.com/GiveaKidaCoat.aspx to check on
distribution times and locations as these vary by city. If you don’t have a coat to donate but would still like to help, The Salvation Army has set up a special page for
monetary donations. Donations will be used to purchase new coats in much needed sizes and to help offset Salvation Army expenses associated with distributing coats.
Give A Kid A Coat is sponsored by A Cleaner World, The Salvation Army, Fox8/WGHP, 1075KZL, Rock92, and Campers Inn. This year’s campaign ends on Saturday, November 14, 2015.
