Week Three Stays Strong
The 2018 Give A Kid A Coat campaign has collected 14,058 coats during the first three weeks of this year’s campaign. That’s 1,757 more than the number collected through week three of last year’s campaign.
Jared Pike of 107.5 WKZL says: “Due to colder than normal temperatures this winter, we hope to collect over 20,000 coats for children right here in the Triad! Join us in making this the biggest year ever!”
“We need to make a strong push the last two weeks of this year’s campaign to meet the needs of as many children as possible this year,” said Chris Edwards, President of A Cleaner World.
If you’d like to help with this year’s Give A Kid A Coat campaign, simply drop off outgrown or unused coats at any A Cleaner World location. A Cleaner World will clean and repair coats and give them to The Salvation Army for distribution. Families in need of coats should check with their local Salvation Army office for distribution information, or visit: http://www.acleanerworld.com/aboutus/givingback.aspx
The 2018 Give A Kid A Coat campaign concludes Saturday, February 10, 2018. Give A Kid A Coat is sponsored by A Cleaner World, The Salvation Army, Fox8/WGHP
, Rock92, and AAA Storage.
